Trio Gaspard will be performing 'Berlin Stories at the Pierre Boulez tomorrow at 19.30.
"With a stylistically diverse program, the Trio Gaspard, founded in 2010, shows how lively the piano trio genre has remained over the centuries. In addition to Mendelssohn's C minor Trio, the three musicians interpret the Litaniae by the Swiss composer Paul Juon, who was working in Berlin, under the impression of the First World War. Music by Greek Schoenberg student Nikos Skalkottas and That Crazed Smile by British composer Charlotte Bray , written in 2014, can also be heard."
